Poolsure, an Aquasol Company is searching for a Collections Analyst to join our team in the Houston, TX area. 

The Collections Analyst is primarily responsible for the overall Collections process within the accounts receivable team. The individual will coordinate the daily, weekly, and monthly activities of the Collections Team, while also recommending, testing and implementing processes to successfully resolve collections issues with customers. The individual will communicate and collaborate with other internal teams to maximize the impacts on the overall accounts receivable and collections processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Generate reports and analyze data pertaining to customer collections to determine actions and share with management as needed
• Communicate with customers to build and maintain a strong working relationship and preserve customer retention
• Collaborate with other team members to share or obtain relevant customer information regarding payment of past due accounts
• Review predetermined progress issues to determine next steps in the process or when to escalate to management for further review and resolution 
• Enter all communication notes and updates throughout the process in the designated system of record 
• Communicate directly with customers to obtain payment status, or resolve issues that may require further research or collaboration between other departments
• Research property ownership and tax records along with other related customer properties to identify trends in payment history and determine courses of action
• File liens and potential small claims cases for customers with consistent collection issues
• Coordinate activities of team members to ensure a smooth and efficient department, resolving as many of our collections accounts as possible

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Three years working in a collections environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly
• Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
• Ability to identify and analyze issues and problems; recommend and implement solutions; and respond effectively to inquiries
